Situated on the banks of the St. Croix River in Hudson, WI, this dental office remodel was themed after the recreational activities on and around the river.

In an effort to make visiting the dentist fun, a circulation “river” was designed using vinyl flooring. Applied animal stickers are used as a way-finding technique to deliver the children to their operatory.

The “fishing shed” houses the children’s play area complete with canoe and wagon wheel, while the “island” centered in the river occupies the sterile cabinetry.

Bright colors, fun carpet tile patterns and accessories help to reinforce the theme.
